- Steffen Thomas Museum A private museum in Buckhead, Georgia (70 miles east of Atlanta). he Museum is dedicated to the life and work of the American German Expressionist artist, Steffen Wolfgang George Thomas.
- Stone Mountain Park Home to the largest exposed piece of granite in the world. Visitors can explore the Park's 3,200 acres of lakes and woodlands, several major attractions and a variety of recreational activities including golf, tennis, swimming, boating, and hiking. Stone Mountain is located 16 miles east of Atlanta and open yearound.
- The Carter Center Includes a peace and human rights center as well as Jimmy Carter's library. Open to public and located just two miles from downtown Atlanta.
