Oberammergau Passion play 2000 Since 1634 villagers of the small town of Obergammergau have reenacted the crucifixion of Christ. The Passion Play, as it is called will be one of the biggest millenium events in the world. Dates run from May 22nd to October 8th 2000. Unfortunately all tickets have been sold out. Obergammergau is 60 miles Southwest of Munich.
