- Fleche d'Or Café A really nice stop to get drink or food supplies located a few streets from renown Pere Lachaise Cemetery (20th district) where many famous artists are burried (Jim Morisson, Oscar Wild..). This old train station has been converted into a bar/restaurant a few years ago. Ask for a table with view on the rails..
- France Stadium Soccer fans, this site provides a wealth of information on "le Stade de France". - La Grande Arche La Grande Arche is an amazing structure located in the heart of Paris, facing the Champs Elysees. La Grande Arche was built in the late 80's to celebrate the 200 years of the French Revolution. The top of the building is open to the public. Metro station: Grande Arche.
- Le Monde en Marche I know, I know some of you will say "Why is this a special place?" My answer: "Because just browsing the catalogue made me feel like a kid..". Left bank, 6th district. In English also would be even better..
- Parc Asterix Before the arrival of Disneylandparis in France at the end of the 19C AC, France entertainment parc industry used to leave in a peaceful competitive environment. - Vaux le Vicomte Castle One of the finest chateau and garden in France, Vaux le Vicomte is worth "le detour".. Vaux le Vicomte castle is located in Maincy, about one hour drive South East from Paris, between the capital city and Fontainebleau. The castle is open all year-round, it is open to the general public between March 13 to November 11 everyday (10am-6pm) and to group visit the rest of the year. Price per person varies between $5 to $10 depending on what visit option you choose.
- Videotheque de Paris-Forum des Images "La Videotheque de Paris" will always remain a very special place to me. This is where I receieved my early education on black and white movies. My dad and I used to spend full afternoons in the dark rooms. I discovered the Marx Brothers, Buster Keaton, WC Fields, and the classical French movies such as "La Guerre des Boutons", "Le Viel et la Mer", "Le Facteur", "Les Vieux de la Vieille" and many more.. La Videotheque is located in the first district of Paris, close to the Forum des Halles.
