  • Vaux le Vicomte Castle One of the finest chateau and garden in France, Vaux le Vicomte is worth "le detour".. Vaux le Vicomte castle is located in Maincy, about one hour drive South East from Paris, between the capital city and Fontainebleau. The castle is open all year-round, it is open to the general public between March 13 to November 11 everyday (10am-6pm) and to group visit the rest of the year.   • Videotheque de Paris-Forum des Images "La Videotheque de Paris" will always remain a very special place to me. This is where I receieved my early education on black and white movies. My dad and I used to spend full afternoons in the dark rooms. I discovered the Marx Brothers, Buster Keaton, WC Fields, and the classical French movies such as "La Guerre des Boutons", "Le Viel et la Mer", "Le Facteur", "Les Vieux de la Vieille" and many more.. La Videotheque is located in the first district of Paris, close to the Forum des Halles.
