- Annuaire Nautisme/Nautical Resources Directory You will find a wealth of information on this site on nautical resources located in France: yachting, ports, repair centers.. Too bad this site is not yet available in English. Go to "Ports and Lieux" to get a comprehensive directory of French harbours and ports.
- Federation of French Regional Nature Parks Official website of the Federation of French Regional Nature Parks. There are 36 regional nature parks across the French territory ; use the interactive map to locate the closest park to your destination and find more about that park.

- French National Parks There are 1500 national parks worldwide, 200 of them are located in Europe, 7 in France. This site will provide you all the information you are looking for on these parks. Nice site!
- Inventaire Forestier National If forest and trees are your main concern when you travel, visit the site of the IFN, their job is to provide a precise inventory of the French trees. You can visualize forests by region or by departement!
- Invitation to Hiking in the Pyrenees You will find on these personal site great resources on hiking trails located in the Pyrenees region of France and Spain. Site in French only!
- Montagne de France This website provides information on touristical resources and activities available in the French Alps and Pyrenees mountains. Nice design but the content remains limited. Site in French.
- Natural Caves of Choranche These beautiful caves are located in the Vercors area of the French Alps. They are open every day, visits every hour in the winter, every 20 minutes in the summer. Admission cost: $6 for adults.
- Office National des Forets/National Forests Bureau You will find a lot of information on French forests in this site. The English part of this site is still under construction. Hit the "A la decouverte de la foret" to get a comprehensive directory of the French forests.
