- Chateau de Bazeilles A beautiful and classical castle built in the middle of the 18th C. You won't sleep in the castle itself but in the fully renovated stables (on the map: "Hotellerie"). No price info, you need to email them. Site in French only.. A good stop on your way North to Brussels and Liege. This region of France is called "Les Ardennes, the most terrible battle of the World War I took place in Verdun, west from Bazeilles.
