- El Cafetal Inn Charming B&B on the grounds of an old coffee and sugar cane plantation. Located just 20 minutes from the San Jose airport.
- EL Jardin Del Eden Hotel Small luxury hotel with 5 Villas and 2 fully equiped apartments. Each room with private balcony view of the ocean and private bath. Although not directly on the beach, this hotel is rated high for its french sophistication that the owner brings and the great restaurant cuisine serving nightly specials. Check this site for it's many good reviews. Activities include sport fishing to volcano climbing. Priced more than moderate.
- Hacienda Dorada Located on the Nicoya Peninsula,you can stay in one of the two villas for a minimum 4 night stay. Both villas have beautiful décor, and private baths. Priced as a 4 star. Each villa sleep 3-6 people. Person to help you with activities, even grocery shopping.

Able to keep your stuff in a locker while at the beach, hit the buffet breakfast that is included in the price! Fun place!
